Jibb LT V2.2 Fox Factory Complete Bike

Das Raaw Jibb LT ist ein absoluter Brecher! Auf den Hometrails ein gutes Training bergauf, dafür extremer Spaß bergab! Werde es zeitnah zum mullet umbauen, um es ein wenig wendiger zu bekommen. Ein wirklich formvollendetes Bike was vor keinem drop oder Steinfeld zurückschreckt.

I'm seriously impressed with the Jibb. What a bike.
I went with the LT version in XL, which suits my 1.85m frame and proportionally long legs well. The Jibb replaces a 2018 Guerrilla Gravity Smash — a bike with very similar reach and stack numbers, but a shorter 429mm chainstay and slacker 66° head angle (though I ran that frame with a -1° headset). From the first ride, the Jibb felt like a massive step forward: more refined, more efficient to pedal, and with far less pedal kickback than the GG ever managed.

The geometry really does the talking here. The head angle, combined with the longer chainstay and lower BB drop, creates a bike that feels planted and grippy in a way that's hard to overstate. That lower BB drop in particular puts you in the bike rather than perched on top of it — something that's always been a weak point for me given my height and leg length. The long chainstay and minimal kickback also do a great job of smoothing out square-edge hits, helping the bike flow through trail debris and maintain momentum rather than getting hung up.
For context, I've also been riding a high-pivot Deviate Highlander alongside the Jibb. The Highlander is a well-engineered machine, but the idler adds noticeable drag and demands real drivetrain attention. The Highlander's chainstay also grows under load, which introduced a subtle but real stability and weight-transfer quirk the Jibb simply doesn't have. Overall, I expect the Jibb to be easier to live with long-term — it climbs better in most conditions, pedals more efficiently, and those advantages more than offset the frame weight penalty.
One concern going in was the XL wheelbase. It did feel a touch long initially, but I adapted quickly and in practice it's only marginally longer than other bikes I've ridden.

Setup notes: I'm currently running a 35mm stem with a 50mm rise bar. I started with a 40mm rise bar, but with the 455mm chainstay the bike felt a bit dead when trying to pop or bunny hop. Switching to the 50mm rise woke it right up — a small change that makes a big difference with a longer rear end.
Suspension is an EXT Storia coil on the bearing shock pivots, and it is exceptionally smooth. I haven't tested it on truly gnarly chunk yet, but I've hit a few 1.5m drops and the lack of feedback through my feet is quietly confidence-inspiring. I've now got enough rides on the Jibb to have a real sense of what it is, and I'm very happy with it.

Next up I plan experimenting with the mullet setup, although i wish there were a way to push the rear travel to 150mm in that configuration.

Possédant actuellement un Slash carbone je désirais revenir à l’aluminium pour son côté intemporel et si en plus la facilité d’entretien s’ajoute pour un bike durable le combo est gagnant . Pourquoi le Jibb LT ? Je veux un mini enduro polyvalent. Je vais mettre la nouvelle Lyrik ULTIMATE avec un super Delux Hélicoïdal et pourquoi des jantes carbone Reserve avec mes moyeux I9 rouge . Je pense que les touches de rouge sur le Raaw sera top . C’est mon projet qui coûte mais je suis patient Cordialement Franck

After having my eye on this bike for quite some time, the updated version of the Jibb (V2.2) finally convinced me to buy it earlier this year: The UDH-compatible rear end and adjustable chainstay lengths now come as a complete package, and in my opinion, the standard 160-mm fork geometry is a perfect match for this bike. After a test run, I had made my decision.

Coming from a trail bike with a 140-mm fork and a shorter reach, switching to this bike is a noticeable improvement. The longer reach and increased travel have boosted my confidence and are now encouraging me to further develop my riding style. It feels balanced and has a solid character - which is partly due to its slightly higher weight, but also to the longer wheelbase. Despite this solid feel, the bike remains playful and also efficient when pedaling.

At 1.88 m tall, I’ve chosen frame size XL, which offers what I find to be an excellent balance between stability and agility. Most of my riding takes place on forest trails in Rhineland-Palatinate, where the terrain consists of a mix of sand, sandstone, roots, and occasional gravel paths. The hills typically range between 300 and 500 meters, so every ride offers a good mix of climbs and descents - the perfect terrain where the Jibb really shines.

When choosing this bike, I was particularly drawn to the aluminum frame and the practical, user-friendly design that makes component assembly straightforward. I really like how easy it is to install and to maintain. As one example, I think it’s extremely practical and time-saving that you can install the rear brake without having to open the hydraulic line. At the end, this leaves me with more time being out on the bike.

Component-wise, I went for a Fox Float X suspension in the rear, which I believe is very well suited for the terrain I’m riding the bike. In addition, I’ve mounted a Rockshox Lyrik fork and a SRAM GX Eagle Transmission derailleur (crankset 170mm, 30t); in case of the latter, the recommended setup parameters for the Jibb are conveniently available on the SRAM support page. The ability to choose the individual components based on my own preferences, as well as taking advantage of some discounts, I see as another benefit of buying just the frame.

Looking ahead, I may explore the optional mullet configuration, but for now, I am very happy with the 29-inch wheel setup on both axles. It’s the do-it-all bike I really enjoy to take out on rides in my spare time.
