Madonna V3 Fox Factory Rolling Chassis - Raw
The Madonna V3 is the most capable, adjustable, and durable bike we’ve ever built. It’ll take on the roughest tracks, the longest rides, all the while never shying away from a climb.
While we haven’t lost our focus on durability, we’ve added adjustability to make it even more versatile. The fourth iteration of the Madonna will have your back, no matter what.
With the Rolling Chassis Kit we offer you a high-quality foundation for your individual Madonna build. You'll be ready to go in no time with the included component package yet still have plenty of room to create your own personal bike masterpiece – who wants an off the shelf build anyway?
We provide a 2023 Fox 38 Factory fork with the frame, which you can combine with your preferred Fox or Öhlins shock at the rear.
Included is a OneUp Components V3 Dropper, with the choice of drop starting at 150 mm and going all the way up to 240 mm of travel, to provide the optimal setup for every rider. Their V3 handlebar remote is also included. If you need some help determining the amount of drop for you, click here.
For the cockpit, we rely again on OneUp Components and offer you the stem in two lengths of 42 mm or 50 mm and their carbon handlebar with either 20 mm or 35 mm rise, so you can feel comfortable from the get go. Ergon’s GD1 Evo Factory grips and SM-Enduro saddle round out the touch points. If you're unsure which combination of stem and bar is best for you, click here for more information on the perfect cockpit setup.
The Rolling Chassis is topped off with DT Swiss EX1700 wheels, equipped with a Maxxis Assegai with EXO+ casing up front and a Maxxis Minion DHR II with DD casing out back. This combination is our current go-to in almost all conditions. The wheels can be configured with either a Shimano Micro Spline or SRAM XD freehub.
To get you off to a good start in building your new bike, we've already pressed the headset cups into the frame and mounted the crown race on the fork. The tubeless tape and valves are also installed, you’ll just need to add in some sealant. The rest of the components are ready for you to assemble – this way you can truly experience the build process from the ground up and get to know your new bike and all its technical details. But you’re never on your own, as our support is always there if you need help building and can’t find the answer you’re after in our extensive knowledge base.
If you want to learn more about the shock choice or the two different rocker link options, you can find all details about the Madonna V3 on this page.
The frames are regularly available with the rocker link options shown in the selection on the side. If you prefer a different rocker link, please send us an e-mail to hello@raawmtb.com and we will check the availability of the preferred configuration.

I turned my attention to RAAW because I wanted my next bike to come from a tinier brand with a philosophy that suited me. As I was not sure about the sizing, I booked a test ride and from the get-go I was directly hooked.
So after a few months of ''patiently'' waiting, I got the bike and it was a blast to put it together. All the components and frame details are now known to me so tinkering on the bike is easy!
The following week, I was already on my way to Finale Ligure and I ticked the famous Madonna Della Guardia on the Madonna, so 1 item in the checklist was already done.
Feeling on the bike is great with suspensions working like a charm and the uphill pedaling is honestly good in regard to the type and weight of the bike (I like to say to myself that I will build stronger legs so it's a win in the end). It's confidence-inspiring and gives off a super sturdy impression which invites you to go faster and push your limites.
In summary, I can only recommend the test ride (and the bike of course!) if you are not sure about your size or even just test the bike in itself. Props to Felix, who accompanied me the whole way from test ride to choosing the bike build and answering my questions, he was a great help! The whole RAAW package is 5 stars!
Enjoy your rides and see you on the trails!
My bike: XL frame, rocker 65, Ohlins suspension package, SRAM GX T-type transmission, Hayes Dominion A4 brakes (I am 1m90 and 85kg)
I was looking for a bike that is capable and specifically something pleasant to service and work on.
I got the rolling chassis with Öhlins fork and Coil in M (me being 173cm) and 180 dropper which all fits perfectly. Mine is now at 16.9 kg.
First of all, building and working on it has been an absolute pleasure so far and I have little doubt that this will change in the future. And things like the Youtube videos from RAAW on building / maintaining it are such a smart move IMO.
Contact with RAAW was also great and knowing where to get the right parts in case I break things is also important to me.
Like others said here and in reviews, the stack feels different to lots of other bikes, but to me it was immediately comfortable and and I would never go back. The suspension design plus the Öhlins stuff makes Grip just ridiculous.
The weight is probably the only thing that might scar people of.
But the pedaling position is very comfortable, after a few rides you're used to a bit more weight and down the hill is where it really pays off. Steep and rough stuff feels absolutely amazing.
Best bike I rode so far.
Rad bike. Customer service has been second to none. Eats up everything a track throws at it! Very very happy
Climbs well, depends well. Gone from a 27.5 Nomad to this as my first 29er and I won't be going back. Everything flows better. The position it puts you in for the climbs makes it easier. Decending wise it's the same. Confidence inspiring
I have owned Mondraker Dune, Mondraker SuperFoxy2021, Pivot Firebird 2022 and now Raaw Madonna V3. I can say that that is the best bike I jabe owned.
The filing when you go downhill is just natural, you do not need to search for position on the bike to be in te center and the bike wants you to be agressive and push, bike loves to go fast.
And cycling uphill is also something that I was supprised, it really pedals great for bike with that travel and alu frame that is not the lightest.
Long story short; bike is SICK!!!
