The Madonna is the bike that started our journey in 2016. It’s made for the fastest and roughest tracks, while also being a great climber. The Madonna puts a high focus on durability and usability and really shines with a very composed and balanced character out on the trails.
If you want to learn more about the shock choice or the two different rocker link options, you can find all details about the Madonna V2.2 on this page.
The frames are regularly available with the rocker link options shown in the selection on the side. If you prefer a different rocker link, please send us an e-mail to hello@raawmtb.com and we will check the availability of the preferred configuration.

Shock Options & compatibility
You want to use a different shock? We can only guarantee full compatibility with the Fox and Öhlins models we offer and recommend. However, the Madonna frame does offer ample clearance for almost all shocks. Only if the shock body or reservoir is too big it might interfere with the downtube or lower shock mount at full travel. You can find more information on the support page under "Compatibility information".

I wanted to return to a more Enduro style bike, coming off a 2020 Santa Cruz Hightower. After lots of looking around - I wanted something a little boutique and less common! I kept looking at Deviate, but as a light rider that likes to play around and pop off lots of things, I decided high pivot wasn’t for me. I was a little nervous about the weight and more travel, and how it might deaden my ride experience. I didn’t need to worry! This build feels every bit as dynamic to my “broadly average” riding ability. It tracks the ground brilliantly, but when I want to boost off something it absolutely responds, it feels really easy and willing to flick between edges in faster transitioning turns, and the confidence levels from the off were amazing! My only issue was routing the rear brake hose as designed before pressuring the shock. My bigger shelled BB pinched the hose and had me scratching my head when I tried to bleed the brake system - for a lot of time!! Really looking forward to getting to know the bike better, and throw it at some rowdy trails and big hucks!!!

Is this real Life?
Really happy with this purchase! Shipping was easy, support from Raaw has been great, and the bike was a breeze to get setup. The bike rides very natural, and has been a real pleasure to have for late summer party laps at the bike park. I would recommend 100% to anyone looking for a no nonsense enduro rig.

It was a joy to build up my RAAW Madonna V2.2. If you look at the main pivot and all the well designed details you know this bike is built to last. Geometry is spot on. The bike climbs like a goat and descends very comfortable and stable. Absolutely love it!

Balance
Love it! Most balanced bike I’ve ridden. You guys really did some magic with the geometry. Climbs fine. Not Uber light or efficient, but comfortable climbing position and efficient enough to do big days. Nice that don’t have to slide forward on the seat as much on steeper sections. Really good traction in climbs. Pedal strikes are an issue, but switching to shorter cranks helps. Descending is amazing! Plush, planted, but not dead. Great traction on front wheel (unlike some super slack bikes). Cornering is the best I’ve ridden. Braking traction is also best I’ve ridden. Big sweet spot for positioning. Could not be more impressed!
Thanks again,
Ethan

I haven’t spent enough time on it yet, but the first ride was a ton of fun! It’s a smooth bike.
