Madonna V2.2 Frame Kit - Black - Final Edition

The Madonna is the bike that started our journey in 2016. It’s made for the fastest and roughest tracks, while also being a great climber. The Madonna puts a high focus on durability and usability and really shines with a very composed and balanced character out on the trails.

If you want to learn more about the shock choice or the two different rocker link options, you can find all details about the Madonna V2.2 on this page.

The frames are regularly available with the rocker link options shown in the selection on the side. If you prefer a different rocker link, please send us an e-mail to hello@raawmtb.com and we will check the availability of the preferred configuration.

Shock Options & compatibility

You want to use a different shock? We can only guarantee full compatibility with the Fox and Öhlins models we offer and recommend. However, the Madonna frame does offer ample clearance for almost all shocks. Only if the shock body or reservoir is too big it might interfere with the downtube or lower shock mount at full travel. You can find more information on the support page under "Compatibility information".

A true Enduro frame.

Bottom line: This bike is amazing. Cornering is predictable again and so much fun! Trusting the aggressive geometry allows me to relax and ride looser with more flow. This is one of the best bikes I've owned in a long time! It's a fantastic climber which is a bonus because I like carrying the big travel suspension up to the top of the slide. The frame is quiet, compliant and it really works well with the suggested suspension choices. I chose the 65 rocker which was an excellent choice for the extra damping which when paired with the 160mm rear coil and Onyx hubs makes for stealthy singletrack sessions. Sending it is also fun again! Predictable in the air and super playful in bumpy forest loam.

Thanks to the RAAW team for designing, building and refining such an excellent frame!

This bike will most likely remain as a permanent fixture in my ride stable.

Cheers,
Joel

Capable, sturdy and easy to maintain

Upgraded to the V2.2 frame last year, coming from a V1 frame. Size-wise the V2.2 was a bit of a better fit for me, but also the other changes, especially the slightly slacker head tube angle and running a fork with reduced offset improved the bikes handling on steep and technical terrain for me. But also on the still steep but faster flow trails I ride the bike feels right at home. All in all, the V2.2 is the most capable bike I owned so far.

Otherwise the frame is exceptionally sturdy and easy to maintain, with not too many proprietary parts and all spares being easily available in the web shop. Also the support from the RAAW team is outstanding, I am a bit of a nitpicker and in all interactions the team was always patient and very helpful.
