Madonna V3 Öhlins Rolling Chassis - Raw

The Madonna V3 is the most capable, adjustable, and durable bike we’ve ever built. It’ll take on the roughest tracks, the longest rides, all the while never shying away from a climb.

While we haven’t lost our focus on durability, we’ve added adjustability to make it even more versatile. The fourth iteration of the Madonna will have your back, no matter what.

With the Rolling Chassis Kit we offer you a high-quality foundation for your individual Madonna build. You'll be ready to go in no time with the included component package yet still have plenty of room to create your own personal bike masterpiece – who wants an off the shelf build anyway?

We provide a 2023 Öhlins RXF38 m.2 fork with the frame, which you can combine with your preferred Öhlins  shock at the rear. We also offer the Rolling Chassis with Fox suspension – click here for that.

Included is a OneUp Components V3 Dropper, with the choice of drop starting at 150 mm and going all the way up to 240 mm of travel, to provide the optimal setup for every rider. Their V3 handlebar remote is also included. If you need some help determining the amount of drop for you, click here.

For the cockpit, we rely again on OneUp Components and offer you the stem in two lengths of 42 mm or 50 mm and their carbon handlebar with either 20 mm or 35 mm rise, so you can feel comfortable from the get go. Ergon’s GD1 Evo Factory grips and SM10 Enduro saddle round out the touch points. If you're unsure which combination of stem and bar is best for you, click here for more information on the perfect cockpit setup.

The Rolling Chassis can be topped off with the with the optional DT Swiss EX1700 wheels, equipped with a Maxxis Assegai with EXO+ casing up front and a Maxxis Minion DHR II with DD casing out back. This combination is our current go-to in almost all conditions. The wheels can be configured with either a Shimano Micro Spline or SRAM XD freehub. The Maxxis Tyres, rim tape and valves only come with the wheels, if you decide to order your rolling chassis without wheels, those components will not be included.

To get you off to a good start in building your new bike, we've already pressed the headset cups into the frame and mounted the crown race on the fork. The tubeless tape and valves are also installed, you’ll just need to add in some sealant. The rest of the components are ready for you to assemble – this way you can truly experience the build process from the ground up and get to know your new bike and all its technical details. But you’re never on your own, as our support is always there if you need help building and can’t find the answer you’re after in our extensive knowledge base.

If you want to learn more about the shock choice or the two different rocker link options, you can find all details about the Madonna V3 on this page.

The frames are regularly available with the rocker link options shown in the selection on the side. If you prefer a different rocker link, please send us an e-mail to hello@raawmtb.com and we will check the availability of the preferred configuration.

Madonna V3 - A fast and stable machine.

About a year ago, I started considering purchasing an Enduro mountain bike. The basic requirements were that it needed to have an aluminum frame, external cable routing, be stable during high-speed descents, and also capable of some pedaling. It was then that the Madonna V3 caught my attention. After some consideration and watching countless review articles and videos, I made the decision to buy it. At that time, the previous batch of frames had already sold out. Through email communication with the staff, I learned that the next batch of frames was still being produced in Taiwan, and the estimated arrival time was around the end of 2024. I continued to wait.

One day, I received a notification that the frame had arrived. Without hesitation, I placed my order immediately. Coincidentally, it was around Christmas, and the logistics were affected by the holiday. By the time the frame was delivered to my doorstep, it was already January 2025.

I spent a few days assembling the Madonna V3.

Until today, I think I can finally write down some of my thoughts about the Madonna V3.
This bike, in almost every aspect, has met my needs.
The design of the Madonna is very sleek, with the frame mostly composed of straight lines;
The fully external cable routing design made it very convenient for me to assemble the bike myself.
When it comes to riding, the Madonna is exceptionally stable during descents, giving a very reassuring feeling.

Below is the configuration of my Madonna V3:
-Frame: Madonna V3

-Size: Medium Color: Raw

-Fork: Rockshox ZEB 2023

-Shock: Öhlins TTX22m.2
-
Drivetrain: SRAM X01
 and Hope
-Wheels: DT Swiss FR541 with Industry Nine Hydra Hub

-Brakes: Hope Tech 4 V4

-Seatpost: OneUp V3

Fertig für den Bikepark

Leider konnte ich wetterbedingt noch nicht fahren, aber der Aufbau hat super viel Spaß gemacht.

Geometry first Kinematics sec…first

A really good way to choose a bike is starting with geo and then kinematics, point being that it doesn't matter how good the anti-rise or anti-squat or whatever is if you are simply not in the right position on your bike, but with the Madonna you do not need to choose! I’ve had the Specialized Enduro, the Ibis HD6, Turbo Levo all with weird combinations of Cascade Components linkages and EXT Storias and Vorsprung Smashpot kits and stem/bar combos, and the Madonna was the first bike to just feel right out of the box, the low BB combined with the high stack and long CS length make for an excellent bike. It then also has great kinematics. This bike is the closest thing I’ve had to my favorite bike with was the Guerilla Gravity Gnarvana, although I preferred their approach to external routing slightly more, I am happy the Madonna is all external and was a major factor in buying the bike as someone that is constantly doing maintenance.
