Jibb V1 Frame Kit

The Jibb is made to ride up, down and chase its tail all over the mountains. It brings the Madonna’s DNA to an all-around more playful package and entices you to be an active part of the ride. The Jibb does demand more involvement from the rider when things get rough but doesn’t shy away from the big stuff one bit. The chassis gives you all the feedback and confidence you need and makes it an ideal companion for long rides in the hills all the way through to wild bike park days.

PLUS: Love the bike, it exceeded my expectations in handling - it is stable but playful. I was worried of what I thought was a long chainstay length, but I would not go back to a shorter one. I am still tempted to try the longer setting to see what it does, but am not interested in the shorter, which I originally had expected to prefer.

MINUS: Since the beginning, I have been chasing creaks. I have resolved some of the creaking, but some always remains there. The cable routing on the V1 is also less than ideal (and had been a source of some of the creaks) - the solution on V2 (or Madonna V3) seems a lot neater.

Overall a great bike that I'd happily recommend, even though mine has been plagued with weird noises.

Robustes Bike wo schrauben noch richtig Spass macht.

Ich war lange skeptisch ob das das richtige Rad für mich ist. Als es aber zusammen gebaut war. Und ich die ersten ausfahren unternommen habe, war jeglicher Zweifel dahin. Tolles Rad, hoch fast noch besser wie runter. Die Kiste ist wirklich schön agiel und trotzdem läuft es schön gerade aus.
