Capable
The Madonna is hugely capable and finely balanced on everything from tight natural single trails to flat-out bike park tracks. It’s ready when you are and will never throw in the towel before you do. 160 mm of rear wheel travel is paired with a 170 mm fork and the 29” front wheel can be combined with either a 29” or 27.5” wheel in the back.
Adjustable
Our Toolbox Concept enables you to fine-tune your Madonna to your liking. Geometry can be adjusted via bottom bracket height, chainstay length, and head angle, while the suspension offers progression adjustment and two rider-weight-specific rocker links. And if tinkering isn’t your thing, all mid-settings out of the box are what we’d recommend.
Durable
We believe bikes should be ridden hard and put away dirty. The Madonna comes with double sealed pivots, hardware that can take a beating, and external cable routing. But when the time comes, you won’t need two degrees and four pairs of hands to give your bike some love back.

When I reviewed the previous version of the Madonna, I said that it was one of the best cornering bikes I'd ever ridden. I've spent time on dozens of bikes since writing those words, but it turns out that's still the case with the updated model. Its ability to hold a line through a rough, chopped up corner is remarkable – it's calm and stable, while still delivering an engaging ride.

First Ride
The handling of the V3 is composed and intuitive enough for beginners to remain in control over roots and rocks even after a long, hard day of riding. Advanced riders can push the bike’s limits up to the final descent of the day: if you misjudge a corner and start washing out, the bike will let you correct and regain control.

The Madonna’s suspension delivers consistent progression, resulting in a highly predictable rear end. It is extremely sensitive, especially in the initial part of the travel, while still providing excellent chassis support.
Two different rocker links — the Rocker 60 and Rocker 65 — are designed to get the very best out of the suspension for both lighter and heavier riders. The 160 mm of rear wheel travel is achieved using a 205 × 60 mm shock with the Rocker 60 or a 205 × 65 mm shock with the Rocker 65.
The higher leverage ratio of the Rocker 60 is better suited for riders under 90 kg, while the lower leverage ratio of the Rocker 65 is ideal for riders over 90 kg. Riders between 80 and 100 kg have the luxury of choice, as both options work exceptionally well. The Rocker 60 offers slightly better small-bump sensitivity, whereas the Rocker 65 puts less stress on the shock due to lower pressures or spring rates, resulting in reduced wear.
Design
At RAAW, we take a highly engineering-focused, pragmatic approach to bike design. But we also firmly believe that good product design must be aesthetically pleasing. Within the boundaries of our functional design philosophy, we follow a clear set of rules that define the appearance of our bikes.
Silhouette Is Everything
The outer lines of the frame, viewed from the side, define the overall appearance of the bike. The tucked-in downtube and the sloping top tube, which visually extends into the seatstay, create the bike’s fundamental dynamics. From a distance, it has a clear purpose—it looks fast, confident, and unapologetically direct.
We Don’t Hide
Wherever possible, we keep the design clean—nothing unnecessary, nothing distracting from its purpose. But where pivots, component interfaces, and hardware are required, we don’t hide them. The balance between exposed technical details and clean tube lines gives the frame its visual intent.
No Matter the Size
No matter which frame size you need, it has to look right. Simple.
It Needs to Go Standing Still
The sleek tubes taper towards the rear of the frame like elongated arrows. Combined with large bends and small radii in the tubing, the bike looks like it’s moving before it even does.
Tuned Shocks & preset Suspension
We work closely with FOX and Öhlins to get the most out of our suspension designs. Through these partnerships, we offer custom-tuned shocks that are specifically optimized for our kinematics—delivering the best possible performance straight out of the box.
To help you dial in your setup as quickly as possible, we provide extensive setup guides that go far beyond basic recommendations. Based on real-world testing and expert input, they help you unlock the full potential of your bike.
And if you like, we can preset your suspension before shipping your Madonna. Simply enter your weight—including shoes, helmet, and riding gear—at checkout, and we’ll take care of the rest. You’ll be ready to ride in no time.
Adjustability - The Toolbox Concept
Countless hours of riding and tinkering over the years have resulted in the geometry numbers and suspension design we offer with the Madonna. But we’ve also learned that terrain, conditions, and personal preference can require different setups.
From the base, out-of-the-box, geometry, we offer different lower shock mounts, to adjust the BB height by 3 mm, up or down - Subtle changes that have a large impact on the overall character of the bike.
The rear suspension progression can also be adjusted by the same modular lower shock mounts and offers 3% more or less progression from the 26% that comes as standard. It’s also possible to combine the BB and progression adjustments.
All frame sizes come with the rear wheel axle in the mid position. For S and M size frames that’s 445 mm, L is 450 mm, and XL and XXL frames are 455 mm. From there, the chainstay length can be adjusted to 5 mm shorter or longer.
The straight, 56 mm diameter head tube opens the door for easier head angle adjustments with headsets from the likes of Works Components, or any other brand offering 56 mm angle headsets. Accurate marks on the head tube make aligning the headset cups a piece of cake.
Double Sealed Pivots
The Madonna features our double-sealed pivot design with large bearings at all pivot points. Additional proprietary seals help keep mud, moisture, and dust out before they can reach the seals of the actual bearings.
Dual Crown Fork Compatibility
Although a 170 mm single crown fork is our first choice for the Madonna, it’s also compatible with dual crown forks. The Madonna fits the fork bumpers from the Yalla! to absorb impacts from the fork stanchions on the frame. The maximum axle-to-crown measurement of 598 mm should not be exceeded, but this translates to a 180 mm travel fork and we believe this to be the best fit when it comes to DC forks and the Madonna.
External Cable Routing
From the beginning of the development process, we aimed for the smoothest and simplest external cable routing we could make. On the Madonna, it’s not only very easy to assemble, but the lack of tight bends and kinks in the gear cable means that mechanical shifting is guaranteed to be a treat for your thumbs. And our bolt-on cable guides also allow for a very clean aesthetic in case you go for wireless shifting.
Water Bottle & Storage
All frame sizes offer space for a bottle cage. Size S and M will take up to a 500 ml bottle and from size L on, you can easily fit a 750 ml bottle. The top tube also features mounting points for a gear strap, pump or any other accessories that use this mounting system.
Dropouts
Adjustability has always been a core focus, and maintaining adjustable chainstay lengths while using SRAM’s UDH was a clear priority. Chainstay length adjustment is one of the most noticeable geometry changes on a bike, and it remains an essential feature.
Instead of integrating the adjustment range into the dropout itself, the entire dropout is designed as the adjustment element. Interchangeable dropout inserts allow the chainstay length to be set 5 mm shorter or longer than the base setting. These parts bolt securely to the frame and can be swapped in just a few minutes. An additional pinch bolt secures the rear wheel axle, preventing loosening during hard cornering or frame flex.
Frame Protection
The frame comes with a set of protective pieces made from a soft rubber compound. The downtube protector covers the full width of the downtube and offers 5 mm of cushioning buffer to absorb impacts before the frame needs to.
The chainstay protector integrates the gear cable routing and also protects against heel rub on the frame. The frame protection is finished with coverage on the seat stay and chainstays as well as a set of pre-cut clear protective film to cover most of the exposed frame surfaces, keeping your Madonna looking fresh for years to come.
Five Year Warranty
To reinforce what we stand for, we offer a five-year warranty for the first and second owners and also continue our five-year crash replacement program for when things don’t go your way.
